Are there aftermarket bumpers available for the Super Beetle?

What year Super beetle? If by aftermarket you simply mean reproduction, then yes, any aircooled VW store, online or other, should have them.

Actually, I meant carbon fiber (fibre) or fiberglass (glass fibre).

(I also saw a Porsche-style bumper on a SB at www.superbeetlesonly.com, but I'll be darned if I could find it tonight. I had forgotten which Porsche it was a part of originally.)

PS- You asked which year. That's just it: I am researching to decide which way I will go. I realize the '68-'73 bumpers can be converted to the '74-'75 if the fenders are swapped. At the moment, I am leaning towards a purchase of a '75. But, I like all year SBs for one reason or another so ... who knows? (I am quite near the final stages of my investigation prior to purchase.)

CSP do c/f bumpers for all late model bugs.. front ones are the 74-on style though with the integral indicator holes. http://www.customspeedparts.com
