Hi

I want to ask you what are you thinking about this:

Is someone using it?

Hi

I don't know how they work, I think that they only come in LHD so I've never seen one, were a RHD country.

From the photos I've seen I've never been able to work out how they fit, I can see the pushrod for the master cylinder and it obviously bolts to the pedal cluster, but other than that how do they fit to the car?

It works by multiplying the lever arm by 30% so that the current brake pedal ratio of 5:1 (or thereabouts) becomes effectively 6.5:1
OR
the pedal has to travel 30% more to push the rod the same original amount.
I would doubt that the full 30% advantage would be realised as there will be more mechanical movement and extra friction. Also, with all the additional linkages it is bound to reduce feel at the brake pedal. Unless you have a weak right leg or a horribly large m/c (say 25mm/1") I can't see the need for it. It might be worthwhile on a bus to get rid of the long servo runs but thats the only aircooled application that I think would be appropriate.
