Welcome, glad your here!

Pics are always enjoyed, even if it's just parts in boxes, it gets the juices flowing, so post some up if you can.

Great sounding project, I love it when engineering types get started on projects, the results are always surprising.

Does it run yet??

Tnx.

Welcome, nice project. Mine started originally as a 2.4 as well. I have one suggestion-friendly advice. Go for a 332° Schleicher. Major difference in the power output.

Hello TASF,

I've lost my hairs on camshaft selection ! After many discussions with guys that have a lot of experience in the Beetle Cup it seems that :

First it's difficult to compare both camshaft as they are much different in terms of duration at high lift. The 324° (106° LC) is comparison with the the 332° (103° LC) will allow more power at lower rpm due to max torque obtained earlier without clear loss of power at high rpm. The utilisation range is wider with the 324°.

While I was talking to one of the experts I bought my heads from he suggested the camshaft I told you about. Anyway if you are satisfied with the 324 then there is no problem.
