great show in the upstate of south carolina. marque for this year is the vw lets show up in force.

Sounds like we might be building a decent showing. This is the year to make it considering the marque being featured.

Maybe we can convince Pete and the others from the Great White North to join us? I've never seen anyone sorry they didn't go.

For anyone reading this curious what the show is like, there are some pics in the Car Shows section on the main page from 2001. The show is now over twice that size. SUPER nice cars all around. Plus many side events usually including autocross.

I'm looking doubtful. Too much to be done and not much bandwidth available...esp when I get the wrong parts sent. I'll keep you posted. I hope to be up there, just a question of my car being there with me. It's not a long list, but the car has no engine, tranny, seats or working lights at the moment.

Hey we can BOTH be there without our cars! I'm used to it now. :rolleyes::lmao: Its my own fault anyway.

BUT, if all works out with the next few days of delicate negotiations... I will be there with a VW I've been trying to get for two years!

Well, negotiations are VERY slow :angry:. So, not sure if I will have my (new to me) VW there.
