shoot, the anticipation has been killing me and its not even mine. everytime he calls me the first question out of my mouth is "you drive it yet?"
in my best aussy voice, "she's a beut!"
sorry, you aussies have to hate having the crocodile hunter as your country representative to the U.S. as much as us southerners hate having the toothless, shirtless, hillbilly-speaking, ignorant, that-there-tornado-done-run-of-wiff-my-trailer, white trash that tends to represent us on all news and prime time shows. but then again, i still consider myself a floridian so i make fun of them too. ;)

Thanks Zen, you did have a hand in building it. I can't wait till yours is done too. It will be cool to have a couple GL's in the club and at the shows.

I am jealous. Yours has paint too.
I used to dress up for the tourists. When they wanted my picture a bird was always in there somewhere. LOL
Anyway I have a pretty good idea how much time and money you have invested in your car and it is great to see it done.

Well the big brown truck came and I have bumper brackets. I will put the bumpers on and wire the signal lights front and rear this weekend. I still need seatbelts too. I got all the audio in and the console I built is finnished with the CF. face. the speaker tray in back has a CF top and subwoofer enclosure under it. The only thing that went wrong is the amp I was going to use died. I need to find a 120watt bridgable amp to drive it.

It's a very nice mod and looks great on that black car but don't feel left out because CCC has been doing it since the 80's because their wide fenders requre the use of a front bumper in the back.

Well I put about 50 miles on it Sunday. And my list of stuff to fix after the first shake-down is short. A little fender rub on the left front in a right turn under braking, adjust the headlights, the high beam realy goes high/low when I hit bumps(think it is the switch in the turn signal switch assembly and jet the carbs when the rings get scrubed in. I thought it would be a longer list. Well a big T-4 and a 5 speed are still on the list, but that is long term for now.:D

Well the 205/55's on the front have to go. I can't get the camber strait without tire rub. I ordered a pair of 195/50's and I hope they come in by Friday, I need to drive it from South-side of Atlanta to Alabama on Sat. I ordered them yesterday but they didn't ship today because the had to confirm that I realy wanted 16 inch tires for a VW Beatle. So I'm already a day behind (Fed Ex 2 day).
