Bathurst 1000

There not a lot of other tarmac events as exciting to watch as the fender to fender action of the V8 Supercars going 'round Bathurst, I just love the mountain section. I saw a Youtube video awhile ago that had a Lotus Elise race around there, it was easily the best car in-car I've ever seen (Next to Will's of course!)

Its a great track, the most scary part is the downhill before Forest elbow.

That's some serious elevation change for sure, when it shows up that much on camera. Our local track, Mosport, has the infamous corner 2 which drops about 90 feet from top to bottom (and it feels like more than that when you're racing on it), but when you watch ALMS coverage it looks like almost nothing. Bathurst is awesome for sure.
