I got out my old Kamei spoiler mold and made a Kevlar Kamei Spoiler. As far as I know this is the only one made and it's for sale.....$225.00 plus shipping. It's made of 6 plys of 5oz. S-glass fiber glass and one ply of 12oz Kevlar, on the back side the dark stripes are the fiber glass over laps. I took a few pics of it before I finished the front side and paint it black so you can see the Kevlar. The front side of this spoiler will be painted primer black when it's done and ready to ship.

Why did you delete the post asking about one in carbon fiber? Are they available in stock in CF?

No post deleted here? But the same question was posted on STF. Carbon fiber Kamei spoilers are available, the cost is $270 with shipping to anywhere in the USA only.

So does that mean you're "back in business" for Type1 Carbon bits?
What's your current time line on paid order vs. shipped product? I'm thinking about a Carbon Dash.

Yes I'm starting to make parts again but only small orders. I can do the dash but I won't be able to start on it till after next weekend.

Unless your running a late model bumper I don't think so.

I'm so glad you're back Joe!! I bought a pile of stuff from you years ago. How about a late model decklid in CF?

I have a mold for the decklid so it's doable.

Hey Lazarus,
I can do the CF Kamei but I'm not sure about the CF DTM. If Jake's Okay with it I might be able to do it.

I can most likely get jakes approval. Tell me what you need. Do you want me to call him or would an email be better?

Just give him a heads up, if I can do this find out if he has to finish it off or if something you can do.

What price/timeframe are we looking at? Would you be able to do the IDA bulges like the pics I linked to?

Good Question!
Joe agreed to make a dash for me Sept 21st 2011, with a one-week turn-around. Haven't heard from him, and no reply to my emails. It's too bad, would have really liked it in my project. On the plus side, however, we had worked out an agreement where I'm not out any cash up-front. So I just wish him the best and hope he's doing okay.
