New Guy here, just took ownership of my Brother-in-laws '74 1303. He bought it new in '73. It has served him well and he doesn't want to see it sit and do nothing so I was offered a good deal. It has 163k mls and the longest trip it's been on was from Atl to Greenville, SC. He drove it to downtown Atl instead of his Vette.
Solid car has surface rust but it will paint up nice. I've got the engine out right now cleaning and installing a new muffler. My mods won't start for a while I've got other irons in the fire, '71 Bus(Euro Look) and "Geek" my everyday ride, '64 Type 1 w/Sunroof.
I do plan on lowering, Porsche wheels and I'd like to do a Turbo engine, maybe a Type 4. I don't like using wider fenders would like to stick with stock width fenders but still tuck the wheels under there!

Steve the color code is L31A, Senegalrot is the German word that is on the tag also. It's a bit faded and what ya see is a respray that is about 10yrs old. I'm sure I'll paint it back red but it will be a deeper red, not Georgia Bulldogish red.

Hey man, I took pics of Laz and your cars at YU Buggin. I got Laz setup from him. I meant to get back down and talk to you guys but I got busy catching up with my other Dub peeps!
