Different coilovers?

Hi guys, Do you know the difference between the kerscher coils and the memminger ones(which are the KW V2) cause the look pretty much the same thing. As Kerscher informed me his coils made by him are with koni shocks eibach springs, kerscher struts and some small bits are made by KW. But Memminger states that his coilovers are developed by KW and Memminger.
Please tell me the difference cause i am very confused. Thanks in advance.

From looking at the Memminger site I'd guess the main difference is that they are stainless and the kerscher ones are electroplated steel
