It is great to see that we have some people interested in being part of the GTA GL Club.

Certain things need to be discussed though.

1. Club Name
2. Rules

As for now Sandeep and I discussed the rules issue a bit and because we want to keep it open as much as possilbe we agreed to have one major rule though:

Car needs to be lowered and has to have either Porsche or other modern rims. The idea should also be towards a performance car not only for the strip but also for the track so the suspension paly a big role as well as brakes. Everybody that wants to build a GL AC VW is also welcome.

A starting point to discuss rules should be this thread :What is your definition of the Germanlook style? (http://www.germanlook.com/Forums/showthread.php?threadid=29)

Everthing can be discussed but I thought a start had to be made.
So let us know what you think.

Sounds good to me.
I like the emphasis on performance rather than looks.

As for names :

Toronto (or Ontario) Autobahn Cruisers
German Look Bugs (doesn't get anny simpler than that :p )
Canadian Power Bug Club
Little Buggers
Bad Boxers

Hmm, I guess we should first establish what we want the name
to represent. Do we want 'VW' in there, or 'Bug', or 'GL' ?

Great names !

My pick is 'Flache Vier Auto Gruppe'

We should schedule a chat to discuss ! The empasis of the club should be to move towards improving the AC VW, both in power and handling .. would be cool to show up at GTA autocrosses this summer and compete as a team ! :D Lets show people what an AC VW can do !! :silly:

Tuesday's best for me, though really either evening is OK. Let's come up with a name for this club. Seems the "big" clubs have German sounding names, so I'd like to find something with a nice Germanic ring to it. Alex, guess your our local language expert here.
