Hello again from Playa Del Carmen!!

Could anybody tell me what is a super diff. I kinda know what a limited slip differential does but what is the difference between that and a SUPER differential?

Thanks for the info!!

A standard VW differential has only 2 spyder gears (low HP/low cost), a super dif uses 4, like most real differentials in the world. A superdif will not increase traction like a limited slip, it only makes the differential stronger.

I think I remember hearing that someone (Berg, maybe?) used shims to make the spyder gears fit tighter and be harder to turn, acting as a poormans limited slip. Probably not very effective though.
