Alex or anyone eles,
Joe told me that you have done 944 calipers and kerscher rotors, is it that straight forward or is there more to it? Any info would be good. Could you do the same on the back for a bug? I did see the short article " which brakes......" Thanks JR

Morning JR
I bought Alex's Kerscher set-up off him when he decided up move up to the big Porsche stuff. The rotor is a straight swap (ball joint front end, IRS rear). If you want to put the 944 Turbo rear calipers on the front you will have to resurface and drill the front spindles to accept them. Not a big job. As yet there is no strait forward caliper swap for the rear rotor. There are lots of other options, most requiring more money and more time. The basic Kerscher should be capable of stopping anything but a 250 hp monster. Good luck.

thanks for the info mutant,
i like easy and that seems to be the easiest "decent " upgrade to me. if anyone eles has some ideas for a newcomer to the scene i would be glad to hear from you. my engine is (will be) semi modest with 140 ponies at the most, so this aplication should be fine for me. thanks again JR

It is exactly as Carl says......it is an easy brake upgrade....and some German tuners sell already done kit with Porsche Boxster Calipers for about 1300$ US.
You can see the kit on the Kerscher website...... www.Kerscher-tuning.de
