Hello,

Finally finished the front air suspension. I am very pleased with the result.

The major trick to gain space for the shock was to replace it inboard.
I can get through the full motion range of the stock setup (with cutted bottom bumpstops).
I kept the regular mounting position of the tie rods.

I'll let the photos speak for themselfs.

More (lots) photos at the Progress page at my website (will have a proper page soon). I took almost 100 photos during engineering and the build up (not all shown of course).

Any comments appreciated !

Hello,

Just made me a new page at my website.

Check out the suspension mods front page. A page about the complete setup will be online tomorrow.

Hello,

Finished 2 pages at my website covering the suspension modifications and the setup itself.

Check it out at my website under the air suspension menu.

For those that are interested, EVERYTHING (including the air management system) has cost me a total of a little more than £ 1000. Which I think is reasonable.

After constructing everything myself I can say the retail prices for the T1 kits are VERY reasonable. Only gain you will have when constructing the brackets yourself will be finish and fit.

Enjoy,
