I found a nice book on chassis engineering called Chassis Engineering. The number is ISBN 1-55788-055-7. You should be able to order it on line or from a major book store. It is quite informative about just about every thing dealing with the chassis and making it handle. It goes into good detail on spring and shock selection, the different types of suspension, and how to solve problems with an ill handling suspension. Good reading if you are doing a double A- arm conversion or just want to hop up your stock bug. Quite easy to read with engineering problems in which you can your car as the example. Hope it helps.

That is a good one. There are a bunch of others, too, varying from good to so-so in no particular order, such as:

Race Car Vehicle Dynamics by Milliken
Car Suspension and Handling by Bastow
New Directions in Suspension Design by Campbell
Fundamentals of Vehicle Dynamics by Gillespie
The Automotive Chassis by Reimpell
How to Make Your Car Handle by Puhn

Happy reading!

Would you have the numbers for these so people could order them such as from Amazon.com? The numbers are usually on the copyright page in the front of the book. Thanks.
