been doing a bunch of reading on a 944 conversion for my standard. i am mainly interested in the track widening in the rear. i did not see an answer to this question though...do the 994NA or 944T brakes on the front widen the track? if so, how much?

Yes, the 944 NA brakes do widen the front track as well. I don't have exact numbers, but after fitting them to my '73 Super, the 15" x 6" Cookie Cutters don't fit under the stock fenders no more....

I think it's roughly about 1/2 to an inch per side.... Eyeballing it...

Mine only increases the front 1/4 inch for the Ghia hubs and the thickness of the early 944 rotor about 3/16 inch. It was the best I could do at the time. since then I can do it with only 1/4 inch increase.

Err.. So you are using Ghia hubs and rotors with 944 calipers?

The 944 conversion, on a Super, widens the track by 10mm per side. I have no idea on a Standard.
