Something sounds amiss. 0-124 in 9.9 sec. How fast is it going in the 1/4? At 11.4 seconds in the 1/4 I would guess under 120MPH usually an 11 sec car is under 120 right?

11 second cars usually run between 110-120 mph (I think) so what I think we have here is the typical low balling from the factory in the 1/4 mile department. 605 hp and 3042 should be in the mid 10's ya'd think ! But I still want one !

My guess would be about 140-150 mph in the 1/4 mile. But I don't know for sure.;)

Typical lowballing. That's funny. I don't think Porsche had a perfect quarter mile time in mind. It does seem off, but when you think Porsche, you don't think straight line.

Hell, just look at the article comparing the GL bugs in that VW Trends a couple issues back. They said even in there, that they didn't do 1/4mi tests, since the cars are intended more for long and winding trips. I think that's kinda all of Europe's idea on fast cars: how fast can you get through those winding mountain passes? Me personally, I don't really care if the car has a lower 1/4 mile ET, as long as I know it'll roast the Detroit Iron in a turn! I even did that in my bug a couple times, losing street races to Hondas (in a straight line) until we hit a sharp turn, then I kicked those kids a$$e$ straight to tomorrow!!
