Drilling holes in Carbon Fibre?

What is the best way to drill a hole in carbon fibre so that it doesnt crack?

What should be done to the hole to make sure it doesnt fray/crack after being drilled? Someone said to me 'superglue' last night... Is that right?

its for my firewall... I have an MSD 6AL, Blaster 2 coil and an oil catch can I need to mount.

lay the sheet over some wood or MDF as support and something to drill into, use a NEW drillbit and just drill! ive not seen c/f fray ever.. but paint or superglue would seal the edge if you can be bothered.

Done some research of my own and the recommendation is to use carbide tipped drills (which we have some of :D ) and to take it slow. Smallest drill first than gradually work your way up in sizes.

I will superglue the edges for additional protection too.

I think you're being too technical there Samuel (there's a suprise! ;) ) Just drill the f*cker and be done with it!!

The firewall is so thing that you can cut it too with good quality snips!
