I tried to order the blue self lubricating ones.... But nooooo those are not carried anymore so they sent the red ones!

Will the reds really make a squeeking racket? What lube do you all use?

I know a bunch of people here have the reds, so let me hear it good or bad :)

This is for the rear IRS control arm mounts.

How about the black ones from Energy Suspension? They are graphite impregnated to eliminate squeaking. Here is a link to their VW aircooled stuff:

I don't know anyone running them, so I can't comment on how well they work. Cheers!

I don't have the urethane bushings you are talking about, but I do have a buncha urethane bushings on my VW and my other car. I don't run the lube that comes with them. I use silicon plumbers grease. You can find it in small quantities in the plumbing isle of most home improvement type stores. I greased up my sway bar mounts on my other car 3 years ago and haven't regreased them yet. They still don't squeek. It's pretty thick stuff and it doesn't wash off with water. That's what I recommend.
