i like your car alot!
....only reccommendation I could make would be too lower the front a tad bit--- seems like it is higher then the rear... IMHO :)

I totally agree, I have lowered it since these shots have been taken. But I still think it may be a tiny bit too high.

Got the engine sorted over the weekend, my living room floor is now home to all the parts needed for my new motor, and my bank balance is almost empty.

Its going to be good. Still need to sort out the gearbox, and I have realised no use skipping on parts. Think about upgrading the CV joints as this will be the weakest part.

Bit worried that the low profile/wide tyres will not grip that well from a standing start, may need to increase the profile. Any ideas?

The "contact patch" (wide) deals with traction. The side wall profile more affects handling. Read the below link about this:

OK thanks, I will take a look,

I really want to keep my Tyres (they cost enougth) or something similar so I may have to come to a compromise.

As you said the profile is to do with handling as they have little flex in the side walls, but when launching hard, I think you need the flex, else all the power will go stright to the road, and cos they are not slicks, they will spin. Thats what I have been told. I maybe wrong.

There maybe some truth to that knowing that the NHRA Top Fuel Dragsters (USA) have such large sidewalls on their slicks. However, we have to find a middle ground on our cars.
