Where is the part number on a 951 front spindle? The person I bought my 951 spindles from stated that they were from a 1986 car. I tried to check it against the part numbers that Superman put together but I can not find a part number on the spindle.
Thanks,
Randy

I've never seen part numbers on the spindles. There is some numbers on the late radial spindles but I believe this to be a production number and not a part number per say.
Randy look at your discs, if they are 11.7" and bolt to the hub from behind then they are 1986 Turbo. The non-Turbo has 11.1" discs. If they are later than 1986 then the disc slides on from the front instead of bolting on from the rear of the hub.
The easiest was to know if the spindle is for an early Turbo is to measure caliper mount, 94mm = Turbo and 76mm = NA.

I have a set of late front 944T spindles in Austin if you want to compare or just look. They might even be for sale if I cut one project down. Let me know.
Thanks,
