I was feeling sick(102 fever) the last 2 days, today I felt better. I made a run to NOPI in the GL to see if I could get a 3 guage mounting bracket for Zen so we could get some stuff done tomorrow. NOPI didn't have $#!t as usual. I stopped in at Import Auto Service(VW Repair Place) down the street from NOPI(they started selling some parts) to see if they had one. They didn't, BUT, I spyed a mallory distributor on the shelf. I asked to see it and how much they wanted. He said it was used and he was holding it for a guy that said he would give $25 for it. I told him I would give him $30 and he could tell the other guy that he doesn't know what happened to it. He said OK. Then he said "it ain't an 009 but I here they work OK" I said I would try it and take a chance. It is in great shape and will go well with the $200 45 Dells on the 2276.:D :D :D

Here it is.

Must be my week. My friend just gave my a Sencore Vacume Tube Tester that he picked up from a Thrift Store for $2.50, and it works like a champ. I know what you are thinking,(Vacume Tubes? Do they make them any more?). YES, All the high-end amplifiers STILL use vacume tubes and I build/repair amplifiers as a hobby/side-line and NO, I do not wear a pocket protector and thick glasses(I had Laser eye surgery 3 years ago).:D
Ask any guitar player.

Dave, Chances are the cam you are using will like a wilder combo of springs than Greys.....

We'll see what the dyno says..................
