View Full Version : What do the Kafer Cup cars use?

I would like to know what the ball-joint front and I.R.S. rear Kafer Cup cars did to improve the handling of the cars.

Things like shock/spring or shock/torsion bar combinations.

Alignment settings.

Chassis bracing. ( I saw a pair of braces going from the tunnel behind the rear seats horizontally to the rear?)

This information would really help me in my quest for my German Look Ghia to not be all show and no go.

Thanks in advance.

Once we have the gallery up you could see for yourself.
Coilovers, front and rear, aftermarket shocks from Koni to Bilstein and Boge as well as Porsche 935 style Uniball springplates.
There is a lot of stuff available. It just depends on how much you want to spend. You can achieve a good suspension setup with not that much money. Sone quality shocks and the proper settings. I hope Jak Rizzo will find this place and then we could get an inside from a track racer.
