CSP and similar rear disc kits - HANDBRAKE ?

can any1 tell me how this setup works - need to know as i'm putting together my own rear disc conversion with mk4 GTI calipers (all alloy one yum :D )

I'd like to know how the csp and other kits covert the stock bug handbrake cable to fit the caliper. any1 ??

I know they supply some sort of spacer but i need to know more.

for your info guys, I bought some Mk2 GTI cables and they are 12cm shorter than a bugs - I was surprised thought they would be longer if anything. But they could be fitted (if right length) cos ends are the same as bug and all that would be needed is to cut back the sleeving to suit a bug (or type 3 in my case ! )

not sure what CSP do, but can look at my mates kerscher setup this weekend and let you know if you want.. why not get in touch with speedy cables though? thay can make up a pair of cables to the exact length with the correct ends.

I would think they would press the new end to the cable . They use reducer tubes to shorten the cable. This tube or spacer is machined to fit into the handbrake cable tube i which exits at the rear of the pan.
