wheel issue's please help

Is it possible to run a set of Boxster rims on a 1971 equipped with late model 944 brakes? If so what would be the specs on the wheels? I'm looking to fit these under stock fenders with out any spacers or narrowing.


So far I was thinking 17x7 wheel with 55et on all four corners.
