if 944 spindles, disks, hubs calipers etc were fitted to a 1303 could 4 pot calipers be fitted later on as a bolt on?
What I'm really asking is whether the bolt spacing and "offset" of the 4 pots is the same as the single piston ones??
same at the rear...
thanks

i was just thinking about that!!!
i also have the system of 944 bolt on my 03 because the big reds where to expensive for me.
Now i'm saving for some money because i do want the big reds because they are very brutal.
i've searched the internet and this is what i found.
first i begin with the easie part IMO, thats te rear, if you mount 924s with the vented disks, that should be a bolt on your 944
and for the front i think this should be the same, the spindles and hubs look the same of the 924s and 944.
i don't know if it's correct because i didn't measure things, i only saw pictures and know how my system looks
i have the same questions, but a question of mine is, does somebody with big reds or anather S setup have some info about:
the sizes of disks
the width of the disk (from bolting to the other end of the disk
the mounting screw distance of the callipers
thanks and greetz RON (hollandbugpower)
