Anyone else besides me noticed that "Der Wunder Toy" in the February 2004 issue of VW Trends is also one of the cars in the German Look chapter Keith Seume's book, VW Beetle - The New Custom Handbook?
I find it interesting that it has pop-out rear windows with what seems to be rubber molding rather than the typical chrome trim. It also sports different rear wheels when it's at the drag strip -- which is also interesting and perhaps why VW Trends noticed it in the first place.
