Well I had a great car guy weekend. I spent 2 days at Jakes shop, helped with the testing of the DTM T1, watched Jake blow the drive-shaft out of the dyno at 6500 rpm, got a custom grind Web Cam on order, hot tanked 2 cases and balanced my 2275 stuff. I got to do it myself and got a real tight job, not bad for my first crack at it. Check the tolerance window on the computer in the pic.

I came home dirty and tired, but I had a grin on my face. I even got to spend some time with a couple of VKG brothers while up there. Yetibone stopped in to bring some parts for his engine and Zen stopped up to get some grinding and cutting tools from me.

Words cannot describe how sweet that balance machine is. It balances, it weighs, it cuts, it drills, it mills, slices, dices, and julliens to perfection :p . I got a chance to see it last Thursday, and I am beyond impressed. Jake's whole operation is cutting edge, and very well put together.

I showed up 30 minutes or so after the dyno threw the input yoke. I took a lap around the county before I found Jake's driveway. (when the road forks, go towards HELEN, not towards CLEVELAND) I could only stay an hour or so before I had to head back for work.
