I just found a good deal close to me but I do not know if I can make them fit with my final plan, a 57 body on a late (IRS) pan. I guess I could narrow the front and also run wider fenders, nothing too wide, a inch and a 1/4 would be fine.
How about in the rear, I have 944 all around so there is some more outward space. Should I just keep looking for the 52mm offset? I don't really like the ideas of spacers, but if I need a small shim to make it work thats what I'll do.. Thanks for your input JR

I wish I could tell you but I don't have any experiance with fitting wheels. Since there is a low offset the wheels will stick out further than a higher offset. Worse case worse you will have to buy wider fenders or narrow the front beam. If you can sell them if they don't fit for the same price or more I would say BUY THEM. ;)

post #47 here (http://www.germanlook.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=2839&page=4) will show you that offset on early aluminum arms with 3" wider fenders. no spacer.
