Like the question says, "Will they?"
I need some info on this one bad. I want to go with the Leda: Double Adjust Gas Coil-Overs for a 911 (front struts only), there deffinatley expensive but worth the money:)....
So doese any one have any info on the set-up?
I really need to know...
Oh yeah! Another thing, is 400lb rated springs too stiff for a ACVW? What about 300 or 350lb rated springs?

The struts would be a close call at best, and I'm not sure if you could use them with stock 1303 upper strut mount. You definately don't want to use 944 struts, way too stiff for a beetle, I'm speaking from experience here. :)
As far as the springs go, way to stiff for the front. I'm running 80lb. 12" tall 2.5" springs up front, a little too stiff for cruising, but good for autocross. For the rear, I'm running 25.5mm 944 torsion bars. Hope this helps!

Hey Humble,
What are your rear springs rated at? Thats if you have rear coil-over shocks?
Oh and another thing, did the 944 struts fit easy? Just curious.

Actually, I made a mistake. My torsion bars are only 24.5mm which are 149#/in. I'm not sure what you'd need for a coilover spring, but 400# seems like a bit much.
I've got the suspention parts off an 86' 944 with the sport suspention. The 86 spindles do not bolt to the super beetle struts. So I'm using the 86 strut housing that were modified to work with rabbit shock inserts and ground control coil over setup. Unfortunately the front beetle and 86 944 parts don't work together out of the box. So that's something to take into consideration. The rear was no problem.
