Hi

Im fitted one from a 1303 to a 1302 buts thats no use to you.

Things to look out for, make sure it turns the right way, when you turn the streeing wheel right, it turns right. Look for one off a car that has the the steering knuckles at the rear of the stub axles. Also look for one that is similar to the 1303 / Passat rack, it has really long tie rods that start almost in the middle of the rack, avoid one that have stubby arms at each end, you will get less bump steer with the one with long arms.

Hi Wilson!, maybe you could use one from a japanese car. :D
I have seen one, and he used one from a Kia car. and it handles fine.
