This is my first post, but i have been looking around in here for a while. I have a '72 1302 that i am working on. I was looking at these lights on ebay and was wondering if anybody has these, or has heard anything about them.

Mid America Direct(aka The Real Source) also carries these, maybe made by a different company.

I have found them on a couple of other sites too. Just wanted somebodys feedback on these. What about the ones that are crystal cut with the H4 bulbs? I know they are not HID's, but i know it would be a lot brighter. I know a few people have these on here.

Just wanted to see what was out there. Thanks.

I have also considered these head lights from ebay..... but decided against them........

My only reason: 20USD shipping?
Seriously, that is a little steep.......
I hate getting ripped off on shipping.... I once bought something (totally not related to bugs....) and the shipping was 5USD. When I got the item, the postage is clearly marked as 1.35USD. Where in the world is the rest of the "postage" spent on? The sorry box it came with?

Yeah getting hit with shipping is lame. i just got some stuff on eBay recently and was charged $5 USD, but the postage stamp thing on it says it only cost 3 bucks... cump change yes, but still. At least i can think it went to a well pakaged item, and this particular item was well paked with new materials (not some old box and news paper)

Sorry a little off topic.

The parts were coming from Brazil. Shipping internationally isn't cheap.

I paid 29 euros shipping for my kafer cup brace so $20 USD isn't that bad.

I took the easy way out and put Silver Star sealed beams in mine (very bright). I have also thought about H-4's. Just make sure they have a glass lense, the plastic one get chipped up real quick.

This seller sold a Fox front end -- different and modified from than the standard US version and much more sporty -- and clear tails to a person I know who has an '88 Wagon. He was satisfied with both. Plus, this seller has over 1300 positives and no negatives.

(Sidebar: Shipping costs don't bother me when I know what it is up front. It will affect my bidding price. I don't like not knowing and, even worse, no response from the seller when you ask.)
