Fender purchasing, how to measure...

Whats the best way to measure for wider fenders, from the inside lip or from the outside edge?

More specificly, CCC (Creative Car Craft) fenders for a 1303 (74 super).

Well i contacted Creative Car Craft (CCC) and talked with Sheri. for there fenders you must measure from the INSIDE lip (the one you can not see unless you look under the fender), otherwise you will rub.
