:)
Hello, this is my first post here in your forum. Congratulations, this is great. I do not know if this is the correct section to post my question.
Is it possible that you can drive a bug, cruising at 180 KPH, safely? I know that I need to make some work in the suspension, but about aerodynamics, what do you reccomend?

I would say yes. As far as aerodynamics are concerned, I think that a front spoiler on an aircooled beetle is more important than a rear spoiler.

A rear spoiler creates alot of downforce, which could create alot of lift in the front of the car if you dont have a good front spoiler.

A front spoiler under the bumper will keep the front end glued to the road. Kamei makes a nice one & so does a company called JSport. I am sure there are others too.

Ever driven a beetle at 120mph on the road? It's a bit magical to break through the 200km/h-boarder without any aerodynamical part on your car, but it works. The front will be very light through the upwinds, giving you a pretty freightening feeling, when turning your wheels. A front spoiler is a must to get it more safe!
