911/944 aluminum pedal covers...

Will the pedal cover sets that are sold for the 911/944 fit on the type 1 pedal assembly. I have seen a few nice sets of "heel - toe" pedals and I think they would look nice on my car...

For what they cost I don't want to have to take the grinder or hammer to them. As for making them... well... I'm too darn lazy. :laugh:

I've seen some pretty nice ones for 914's, they look just like the nice ones for 11's, as far as the style, and the pedals in the 14's look almost identical to the pedals in VW's.

Anybody else got any measurements on the aftermarket aluminum or stock rubber pedal covers for the 911/944/914. Just trying to get an idea if they will fit.
