So far I have the 944 early aluminum trailing arms and NA brakes. Do I need to get 944 spring plates or can I use the stock vw ones already on my Ghia? What are the advantages of the Porsche spring plates?

Try using the "SEARCH" function as this topic has been covered extensively before and all the information you need is probably already here on these forums. :D

what BG said, but the short answer is yes, you want the spring plates as they are adjustable.

Yes u need the Porsche spring plates. Steel arm'd spring plates will not work with Ally arms.
