Hello guys,
Its been a while since my last post ( im in vacation until the end of september). Lets get to the pont.

Im thinking of buying a new steering wheel from sparco.
it will be the mugello or the lap5. im wondering if some one has used a sparco steering wheel and hub. im basically concerned with the hub matter.

Nice choices..

I was thinking of going the Momo route..but I am not there yet...

As far as the hub, I believe a hub that fits the rabbit is used..

I remember this being covered in an old post.. Not 100% sure, but remember the rabbit being mentioned.. could have also been the 914 too..

Be patient and someone will answer with the Correct Info..

If they don't have a hub kit for your year 1303 that would be the easiest way. If not in the States the '74 1303's share the same spline pattern as '84 944's and I'm sure Sparco has a hub kit for one of those. All you'll need is a '74s steering shaft. Oh ya those are sweet steering wheels.

Thanx for the feedback Nick

propably i can assume that every 1974 1303 has the same spline layout?
so i can follow your solution if needed...

I have the Momo Mod80 steering wheel with Sparco button adapter on 74 SB splines using the Momo 8010 adapter... Sparco and MOMO wheels share the same hole pattern.

The following cars share the same MOMO adapter (8010) as the 74 SB with smaller diameter splines
78-84 Rabbit -8010
78-88 Scirocco -8010
85-88 Golf -8010
-> 88 Jetta -8010
7/74> Karmann Ghia -8010
83-85 944 -8010

-> 6/74 Beetle -0248 For the larger diameter splines

Nice to know info Anachin. I'm running a '74 1303 steering shaft so if I want a Momo or Sparco then it won't be a problem.
