I just bought a set for my 71 super. can I run the 16 x6's under my stock front fenders without changing my front suspension? I'm runing the topline adjust a strut with disc brakes right now. Do I need to go to the maxx strut?? Does any make a coilover for a super??? Thanks for the help.

Ok, so you have topline front discs with the porsche (5/130) lug pattern correct? what are you going to use for the rear brakes?

You wont need to use maxx struts with the 16/6 early offset (im fairly sure its 23mm offset with that wheel)
But you might need a little wider fenders, but im not sure becusue of your brake setup.

Best thing to do is stick the wheels on the car and figure it out really, since you have the wheels right? you want at least a 1/8- 1/4" of clearance from the tire to the front strut spring.

For coil overs... are you asking about the REAR? as the front IS a coilover?

16X6's run a 36mm offset. You'll prob need a small (5-10mm spacer onto stock disks) to stop them hitting the stock diameter springs.

23mm is for the 7" wide fuch, not the 6" :D
