Big Reds On A Bus? Please Help....

Hi everyone,

I'm planning on fitting Big reds to my 71 Deluxe Bay :D

I've read Sandeeps tech article but this is obviously for a Beetle, I'm going to be using Franklins (http://www.franklinsvwwerks.com) 2 1/2 inch drop spindles (I will be asking this question over there aswell)
Should I get them machined for a 1987 > 944 Turbo & use Sandeeps theroy ? (including parts listed with part #)
Or perhaps there is a different way?
