Hurricane Lili was bad. We had to evacuate and the roads were so backed up a normal 45 minute trip took me almost 3 hours. The only south bound traffic was the National Guard to go into the cities and stop looters. Lili was headed right for my home town of Lake Charles but took a NE turn at the last minute and headed for central Louisiana and hit where my Mother's side of the family lives. When we returned home there was no power. We ran a generator for the past few days and the power came back on today. Luckily we didn't have any loss but my Great-Aunt did have a tree fall into her home.
