In my previous post, I was debating between a porsche tranny and a bus tranny, for my 270 ft lb (And future 350ft lb) engine, and i've decided to go with bus because of the money factor, the ease of intallation, and durability. True the g50 can take xxx hp, but for the money, its just not worth it yet. My next question is what bus tranny to go for?
Between the two, which one can handle more of a beating(And, how much of a beating)? Also, should I be warry of doing a 1/4 mile launch with this transmission, or can it take the punishment, and live to see another day?
ps, i've already scrapped the stock tranny idea..... :laugh:
