a front one would be cool and you can have rear clear turn signals in the bumper :)

The front will fit on the rear using the front brackets mounted in the outboard holes of the front bumper. Here's my car with +3" rears and 68-73 front bumper.

I'd stick with the a plain bumper if you're keeping the elephant feet. A good chrome bumper would look good on your car.

I think the europa bumper on the rear looks kuhl with shaved tail lights -- ala NO_H2O (http://www.germanlook.com/Forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=155).

thanx guys this web site has been a huge help with getting my car headed in the right direction which just proves the vw crowd are still all about helping each other not like other sites where your ride has to meet some funky standard before some one notices you :)

Thanks Bill K
After everything was shaved/welded and painted, I couldn't think of any other way to put the tail lights on the car and wasn't about to mess up the clean lines of the smooth rear end. I wish the lights were bigger and a third brake light is a must with tail lights that low. I'm still waiting for a cop to pull me over for them. I had to add some side marker bulb holders to each light assembly for the amber turn signal and they aren't that bright (turn signal that is).

That looks very nice. I like the color and the "eye-brow" decklid. And I like the tails, too.
