I was wondering if Bilstein rear shocks part# B46-0034 will fit my 73 1303S? Lets just say stock suspension for now. With no adjustment to height or anything else... Bilstein's website (US) says Yes, but it says 75~ VWs... Can I get them?
Thank you,

All 1303 rear suspensions are the same, so if they fit one model, they fit all imo ;)
Don't know about parts numbers but I have Bilstein gas shocks in the rear for many years in my 1303 and type 3 squareback. They work very well.

I could probably find out from the company, but are Bils gas or oil filled?
Also, do you know where I can sourse some rear springs, similar to what Topline's springs do, stiffen, no drop, and work well with most shocks?
Thanks for your help,
