Just traded my fasty for a 75 1303 Sunroof Model (Le Grande Bug).
Has factory AC (needs compressor), body is clean, floor pans are good
except for battery area.

Should have pics posted shortly....

Now all I needs is some 944 brakes, suspension & Porsche wheels.... :D

Way cool. Now put the drag car aside and get to work. Sounds like a cool car, 75, sun roof, A/C, rack-n-pinion. :agree:

I just found out it is a Le Grande Bug and not a SunBug. They only made SunBugs in 74. Le Grande's were almost identical to SunBugs though but made in 75.

I dont think I can put the drag bug aside just yet Dave...Im too close to getting it on the road. Once I get the engine in this week, Im gonna make a mad dash to get the new body I picked up (its a 58 Ragtop) sent out to the paintshop. Once its painted, I will swap out my 67 body with the newly painted 58 and then sell or part it out the 67 Body. Then I can go full bore on the GL. In the meantime, I will be looking for a set of 944 single pot brakes for the front and rear and a cheap set of Porsche wheels until I can afford the wheels I want. I will also be looking for a running T4 motor to do a Cali conversion until I can have a properly built motor from Jake.

>part it out the 67 Body<

Hey I need a body for the '73 pan I am getting tomorrow! :)

Congrats on the 1303! I know you will enjoy it. I have some 944 brakes that should be left over after the '73 gets hooked up.

Take Care,
