1303 3 bolt to 2 bolt strut swap?

can you swap the 2 bolt 1303s strut set up onto an older 1303 3 bolt drum set up? because i have sourced the bits including the bottom arms as i have heard it might be easier to swap bits around to 944 brakes, golf mk1 coilovers (cheapest way forward at the min) or does anyone convert your old struts to coilovers- chop off bottom cup and replace with threaded sleeve and platform? Please help me :eek:

i'm sure you can, quite a few have done this. i've kept my 3-bolt struts using toplines adjustable struts.

Should be a straight swap, you need struts, hubs, track control arms and anti-roll bar (sway bar).
