Are there any other brakes other than VW or Porsche that will fit with minimum amount of modification/fabrication? Preferably ricer type brakes, I am planning on putting on Motegi Track-lite wheels.

I'm using a Porsche 944 split master cylinder with these as the pedal travel with the stock Bug one was sooooooooooooooooo long!!!
Much much better now.
'Any questions feel free to ask.

Hi, the stud pattern is 5 x 120 .......... BMW specific only I'm led to believe :(
Theses are the rims....... which I'm not changing!

Nope, I made my own hubs up out of the bug discs and drums. (they were blank THICK items that were already drilled to BMW stud pattern)
The rear drum was turned down so that the disc fitted over it, 'Top Hat' style. Then bolted to the hub with countersunk screws and a bottle of threadlock!
heres the rear hub,

With the fronts I again turned down the bug discs to make a similar hub, but instead of fixing the disc ofvr the top I attatched it to the back again using the 5 screw method, you can see it better in the pic...

Do you have any pictures from the backside of those brakes? Would be fun to see how those caliper brackets look..
