Need a beater engine

Hey Guys,
Sorry that I haven't been about lately, work/school/family running my tail off :o
I'm still waiting for word back on the replacement rings for my T4, and my car is sitting stuck in the shop until then unless I can find a cheap beater engine for the summer. I just want to drive my bug, not necesarily even fast or reliably :rolleyes: . So... anyone out there have/know of someone who has, a running T1/T4 engine that they would be interested in getting rid of for cheap (heck I'd even rent one for the summer!).
Any help would be appreciated.

I have an autostick motor that was running (according to the seller) when it was pulled. The motor has been sitting for a few years. I don't want to sell it because I planned on using it as my own back up motor but you could gladly borrow it. It needs to be converted to run with a manual tranny. Shoot me a PM if you are interested to discuss details.
