"My other money pit/car" thread

I know that we all put a lot of time and money into our beloved VWs, but what else do you guys tend to spend a bit too much money or time doing?

I'm having way too much fun with my new Subaru. It's a '00 RS that is now my daily driver, but I race every auto-x and track day that I can. So far I'm only about $2,000 in the hole, but that's a lot for a full time college student (me). Here are a few pictures of my money pit-

Here is my money pit..

Debating on Trading her in.. almost at 100K (95+K right now) and at stage II.. Scooby Sports, but she is in need of maintenance to include:
New sti struts
4 pot caliper rebuild
New Turbo soon.
Rack is going
New bushing all the way around.
Clutch has like 80K on it..

The list just get longer.. but still plenty of fun


PS I saw your pics at Nabisco the other day.. was thinking nice car ;)

How about a V7 or V8 swap for that RS..

Rob, nice wagon! Do you have any bigger pics?

Loaf, you really drive your Subaru don't you? I'm at 92K, and I thought I put some serious mileage on mine. Your car looks really good. The color combo and those headlights really set it off.

If things keep going like this maybe I should rename this thread, "My other car/subaru" thread. ;)
