how are adjust-a-struts? i haven't used them but i think there are probably more preferrable things.
i'm thinking about making my own struts (1302)
i don't think i would know how to go about doing it, like with what materials and all
i was also thinking about converting over to 1303 struts because some other VW and porsche struts fit
i gotta go all hi-tech, ya know?
maybe i can just take the whole front setup off a porsche or rabbit or golf or osmething

I know that Superman had made a set of struts that were really sweet and were extremely adjustable. I think you could either p/m him for the article or it may actually be somewhere on this site or on Superbeetlesonly.com. These struts where similar to the Maxx units but instead of a ring to adjust the ride height he used a screw type collar.

Hi
Im going later 1303 struts on my new bug. I came across these struts for jap cars in a local magazine. They besides adjustable spring seats they feature adjustable height bases. The 2 bolt setup looks like it could be adapted to the late 1303 steering knuckle.
