Hello!

If I have:

- 951 rear callipers
- 951 rear disk
- atmo-944 rear backing plate (which bolts to trailing arm..)

Is everything bolt-on? Handbrakes also?

What if I have atmo-944 disk? I know 951 disk is 24mm, atmo disk is 20mm, but does these have different offsets?

Hi,

Use the 24mm disc, It fits properly.

The Porsche caliper mounting does indeed replace the T1 bearing cover. And we omit the T1 drum backplate. The caliper now needs to be offset by the thickness of the T1 backplate, to centre the caliper/disc. You can cut the T1 backplate to make a spacer, or shim the caliper with washers, like others have done. Myself included.

Yes it is all a bolt-on affair, except for the end of the handbrake cable and the length of the flexible outer-cable. You'll need to make a new, longer brake pipe from the brake hose to the caliper.
