A friend with a buggy is looking for someone to do some sandblasting/ mediablasting. He also is considering getting stuff powder coated. Does anybody have any leads.

Thanks

Jamie,
There is a media blasting place just off the QEW in Grimsby, which is where I got my shell soda blasted. They do all kinds of different media, soda, walnut shell, glass bead, metal grit, sand, etc. Not cheap or really fast, but quality work. Give em a call at:

Ace Sandblast

But if your friend only needs a small amount of work done, or just straight sand blasting (ie: frame/front beam/etc) and he has access to a good air compressor, then it may be worth his while to purchase a sandblaster from say Princess Auto for $100, and do it himself.

If he doesn't have the time/space/intrest to do it himself I could do it in the spring (gotta do it outside! Dunes in the shop aren't cool! :( ). You can give him my email if you'd like.

Cheers,
Dave
